Deven Patel
Analyst / Talent Optimization Lead
Deven’s primary focus lies in the research, analysis and sector knowledge of NorthWind’s major operational domains. He is particularly interested in emerging technologies segments and understanding the role in which appropriate leadership can play in encouraging innovation, even within the context of historically consistent industries. Additionally, he is developing the firm’s expertise across the Educational Tech and Education Institutional Leadership domains. In his current role, Deven contributes to NorthWind’s due diligence, deliverables,and other project management objectives resulting in successful outcomes for clients and candidates.
Prior to joining the team, Deven was responsible for founding and structuring several functional residential and commercial real estate portfolios where he developed a strong understanding of the process of ground-up land planning and development execution. Concurrently, he worked with an investment firm to research and explore solutions for solving the technology-gap within the construction market. Prior, he served as a Guidance Counselor with Sumner County Schools in the greater Middle TN region where he taught life skills and conflict resolution to elementary-school students.
A Graduate of Vanderbilt-Peabody and Wake Forest University, Deven holds a Master’s in Education and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry. Outside of NorthWind, he enjoys spending time accomplishing project tasks using Takl as well as cycling or traveling regionally and abroad. He and his wife, Bethany, live in Brentwood, TN with their three cats – Rajah, Rosemary, and Babar.
