Ryan Cornelius is an engaging executive recruiter who focuses on active listening to procure critical data and common themes from leadership talent in the market and aligning that diligence with client objectives to derive a successful outcome. As a professional, Ryan enjoys offering creative solutions to help clients reach symbiotic outcomes that maximize long-term satisfaction and is committed to helping both clients and candidates achieve success. Prior to his career in retained search, Ryan worked in academic clinical and organizational research investigating the variables that lead to individual and organizational success through extensive methodology and scientific modeling. He has a background in statistical analysis and psychometrics (the measurement of personality and cognitive ability). Ryan possesses intensive experience in assessment and diagnostic measurement in a clinical setting.

Ryan is a veteran of the United States Navy specializing in expeditionary warfare. He worked in anti-terrorism and anti-piracy in the Persian Gulf and the waters near Somalia. Ryan also worked with NATO forces during Operation Odyssey Dawn and regularly collaborated with the Italian Air Force.

Ryan is an avid weightlifter with interests in martial arts and guitar. Ryan is a film enthusiast and fan of the Oakland Athletics baseball club. Ryan practices stoicism and regularly volunteers as an advocate to the veteran community.

Ryan holds a BS in Psychology and an MA in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University.
