Stephen Sartwell, formerly an executive at L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX), has joined Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions as senior vice president for program and operations excellence.

“I am delighted to be part of the team and to further CAES’ programs and operations as it continues to deliver next generation electronic warfare, space, radar and missiles technology,”  Sartwell said in a statement released Monday.

In his previous capacity, he led the establishment of methods, processes and tools for L3Harris’ performance and production capacity improvement initiatives.

He also oversaw operations, commercial manufacturing, production processes and supply chain functions during his time with L3Harris.

His three-decade industry career also includes leadership roles at Coleman Aerospace, Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), Litton Laser Systems and the former Raytheon company.
